Transcriber
At home position, full and part-time. Transcribers prepare verbatim transcripts from MP3 audio files made by Caset reporters. With high speed Internet you may accept assignments where you live, anywhere in the world.
Requires a good command of the English language, proper grammar, and an awareness of current events. Transcribers are paid by the page and most Caset transcribers earn $16-$22 per hour. You should have a computer typing speed of 80 wpm.
Reporter
Part-time position in Washington, DC metro area
Record conferences; take notes to help transcribers identify speakers. Equipment and training provided.
